It has been almost a year since South Korean tech giant Samsung released its second generation ultra high-end tablet models, the Galaxy Tab S2. The tablets were released in September 2015, together with Samsung's current flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6.

Now, tech enthusiasts are very willing to know when the next generation of these tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, will be released. Well, it looks like Samsung fans no longer have to wait long.

According to MNRDaily.com, since Samsung is quite prompt in releasing its new gadgets, the date of the release of the Galaxy Tab S3 is quite easy to predict.

The website said that Samsung is likely to stick with its September schedule for releasing tablets, meaning that the Galaxy Tab S3 may be released in two months' time.

A word of caution, though: Samsung released its earlier tablets either on May or July, which means that the tech giant may still change the expected date when it is going to release the Galaxy Tab S3.

As for the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, GSMArena.com posted supposed photos of the upcoming high-end tablet model from Twitter leak aficionado @evleaks. The leaked photos indicate that the new tablet will come in black and white variants.

According to the same website, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also be available in both 9.7-inch and 8-inch variants. The new tablet will likewise be launched with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Further details on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 have also emerged: it will reportedly have a Snapdragon 652 chipset, which as four Cortex-A72 and four A53 CPU cores. The upcoming tablet will also reported have 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 8MP/1080p main camera and 2MP/1080p selfie.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's battery, GSMArena.com also reported that it will be eight inches, with 4000 mAh for both the 8-inch variant.
