Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Friday 2014 deals at Walmart stores

While newer smartphones continue to pop up, last year's Android feat, the Samsung Galaxy S4, seems to not lose its shine. In the midst of all the rage, Best Buy offered the handset free of charge with a contract tie-up. However, the retailer abandoned the promotion this 2014, gearing its offers to other Android devices instead, but others decided to jump into it still. On this year's Black Friday, there are a couple of deals and promotions concocted by Walmart and some U.S. carriers for shoppers to take advantage of in the yearly shopping festivity.

Many who long to get the handset and save tons of bucks at the same time can turn to Walmart. The Samsung offering is for the taking via Straight Talk Wireless for a low price of $249. That amounts to a huge $200 discount. Shoppers can avail of the good buy on Nov. 27 by 8 p.m., when the titanic merchant rolls out its electronic and gadgets markdowns and deals. For AT&T and Verizon customers, the retail giant is bundling a 2-year contract with the Galaxy S4, lowering its price to a mere 97 cents. U.S. carriers themselves, namely Sprint, AT&T and Verizon, have the device on the house with free shipping for a 2-year contract.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was Samsung's 2013 flagship. Up to now though, it remains to be a good handset choice. The Samsung smartphone sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, rendering a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and a 441 ppi pixel density. It houses a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a 2-megapixel front camera within its glossy plastic body. It promises a 17-hour battery life and it can juice up wirelessly. It has a 2 GB RAM paired with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB storage capacity. Its color variants include White Frost, Black Mist, Arctic Blue and Black Edition.
