Samsung will reportedly come out with another device that is believed to be the Samsung Galaxy A9, possibly another mid-level phone that will be sporting a 16-megapixel main camera similar to the Samsung Galaxy A8.

Belief of a Samsung Galaxy A9 came about after trademark filings were uncovered earlier in 2015. Since that spotting, rumors have swirled like crazy and the latest from that circle has something to do with a slight discrepancy in screen size.

It was originally believed that the Samsung Galaxy A9 would be debuting with a 5.5-inch display but now, it seems that some iterations have been made.

According to SamMobile, this change comes from the Indian import/export database Zauba, which suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A9 will instead come out with a larger 6-inch display over the original 5.5-inch size. It remains to be seen if such could be an error in the listing, although all of that could be eventually addressed and corrected if needed soon.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the other whirling specs of the Samsung Galaxy A9, the device will allegedly feature that 6-inch (or 5.5-inch) full HD display and draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 chipset.

Other features would include an Adreno 510 graphics processing unit (GPU), 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. And as mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A9 may likely offer a 16-megapixel main camera similar to the Galaxy A8.

If the camera feature is to be believed, then the Galaxy A9 could probably come out with similar or slightly improved features as its predecessor. This includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,050 mAh battery or better. It remains to be seen what Android OS it will come with, although the safe bet is perhaps Android 5.1.1 for now.
