Samsung Galaxy 2016 release: Amazon France lists Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 Black Edition

Samsung China website

When Samsung launched its Galaxy J series, it first became an exclusive lineup in China before the company offered a global release. The same can be said for the 2016 editions, as speculations suggest that the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 Black Edition has been listed outside of China, available through Amazon France.

According to SamMobile, the black edition of the new Galaxy J5 has already been listed in the European region, courtesy of Amazon France. The new mid-range iteration reportedly has a €275.69 price tag. However, it is unclear if the listing is just a placeholder or already live, since there is no other detail associated with the Galaxy J5 (2016) list.

The Amazon France listing is the most recent one that seemingly confirms rumors that the 2016 Galaxy J-series is already going out of China. Previously, it is said that the 2016 editions of the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 have been seen in Samsung Spain website, with a price tag of €299 for the higher-specs Galaxy J7.

Meanwhile, another confirmed report that the Galaxy J series has already made it out of an exclusive Chinese market is Samsung's release of the price tags in its home country. According to GSM Arena, Samsung's South Korea website has already listed the availability of the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2016 editions in the country. Reportedly, the mid-range iterations can be had for KRW 290,000 (about $255) for the new Galaxy J5, and KRW 363,000 (around $320) for the 2016 Galaxy J7. Both price tags are for carrier-locked editions available via KT Corporation.

The industry follower added that the Samsung announcement also mentioned the Galaxy J3 2916 coming to South Korea soon. In addition, the industry follower noted that the lineups that landed in South Korea seem to be another model, at least for the Galaxy J7. Allegedly, the South Korea model only has 2GB of RAM and 720p resolution for its display, compared with the 3GB RAM and 1080p display for the Chinese version.
