As a young girl, "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson prayed to God, asking Him to give her the opportunity to share His love and kindness to the rest of the world.

Robertson then tried to make this dream a reality by writing her own "Live Original" book, going on speaking tours, and creating inspirational YouTube videos for her fans. She even entered the dancing competition "Dancing With the Stars," thus making a name for herself outside the family show and business.

"I remember praying when I was little, 'God just give me something, give me a platform, give me people to reach,'" Robertson tells Rare. "I would have never thought that He'd give me this platform or this many people to reach."

Robertson is thankful for her family and friends because they've all made a positive impact on her life. The lessons she learned from them are what she hopes to share with her fans. "I've been blessed. I have a lot of good mentors in my life," she says.

Other people also feel overwhelmed being a mentor, but Robertson takes the responsibility with a grain of salt. Robertson hopes that fans understand that her fame and words of advice are not all about her, but are actually all about God.

"People always say is it hard (to be a role model) or do you feel pressure?" Robertson reflects. "Honestly, I don't, because when I came into this, I was 14 years old... but I always knew that this would be something to glorify God."

Even during her recent break-up with long-time boyfriend Blake Coward, Robertson displayed admirable Christian qualities. Instead of feeling bitter and consumed with hatred, Robertson was filled with understanding.

On her YouTube channel, she posted a video saying she hopes Coward would move on well from their break-up. "This is what I hope for Blake. I hope that Blake finds somebody so much better than me in every single way. Because if I wasn't right for him, I know somebody is perfect for him. Because I do love him. I did love him a lot," she said.
