"Dancing with the Stars" duo Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas impressed the judges with their contemporary dance performance on Monday night.

The pair dressed as the biblical figures Adam and Eve, and danced to Alanis Morissette's Grammy Award-winning song "Uninvited."

During rehearsal, the "Duck Dynasty" star said she was delighted to portray Eve.

"We are doing an Adam and Eve dance, and I think it is really cool," she admitted, adding that she felt "a lot of pressure to make it right" because of the biblical context.

"It is such an iconic story, and I am excited," Ballas added.

The couple's costumes resembled foliage, and their choreographed moves were uninhibited and stirring. The judges praised the emotive performance.

"I am impressed that you chose to go for another intense dance," Carrie Ann Inaba said. "I think you nailed it."

Bruno Tonioli was also wowed by Sadie's progression in the competition. "You've come such a long way, my darling," he insisted. "It was amazing."

"You won't be banished from the Garden of Eden," Len Goodman added.

Robertson and Ballas scored 38 out of 40 points—their highest score to date.

Pro race car driver Michael Waltrip and his dance partner Emma Slater were eliminated last night with a low score of 25 on their foxtrot performance. Actor and comedian Tommy Chong squeaked by with a score of 26 on the pasodoble, and actress Lea Thompson was given a 32 for her jazz number.

YouTube star Bethany Mota's salsa dance was scored a 37, and former "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro received a 38 for his cha-cha. At the top of the pack were actress Janel Parrish and her partner Valentin Chmerkovsky, who received a perfect score.

Week 9 of "Dancing with the Stars" will air Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
