The Sacramento Kings aim to win their second consecutive in the preseason when they host 2014 champions the San Antonio Spurs at the Sleep Train Arena on Thursday.

Sacramento is coming off a 109–105 overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers to open the preseason.

The Kings were led by former Spurs forward Marco Belinelli who exploded for 32 points, with three rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 34 minutes played coming off the bench.

Franchise star DeMarcus Cousins, who was heavily involved in trade rumors in the offseason, followed with 22 points also having seven rebounds.

Point guard Darren Collison also joined the scoring party having 21 points and dished out 10 assists for a double-double performance.

Belinelli is an offseason signing by the Kings together with former All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo and center Kosta Koufos.

San Antonio, on the other hand, will be playing their first preseason game this 2015 against the Kings and will likely show glimpses of the new look of Spurs who added major firepower in the offseason.

The Spurs are one of the top favorites to win the championship this season after All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge signed with the team in free agency.

After nine up and down seasons with the Blazers, Aldridge decided to leave the franchise and pursue his championship aspirations with the Spurs.

He was not the only free agent lured by the franchise's winning tradition as forward David West also signed with San Antonio, turning down bigger offers just to win a title.

The two-time All-Star played the past four seasons with the Indiana Pacers where he reached as far as the Eastern Conference Finals twice but has yet to make it to the Finals.

The game between the Kings and Spurs will be on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 10 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
