The Houston Rockets trade rumors bouncing around online are claiming that the team is very interested in having Rudy Gay of the Sacramento Kings in its lineup.

While other teams are interested in nabbing him as well, Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders claims that the Rockets have the biggest interest in the talented small forward, looking at him as one of the players that could further strengthen its roster for next season.

As per Rockets trade rumors, Houston wants to benefit with Gay's talent in the offensive putting him up there with Mike D' Antoni. He is also expected to make magic with Trevor Ariza at the wing.

To make this deal work, however, Yoni Pollak of House of Houston says that the Rockets can trade its very own small forward and shooting guard Corey Brewer.

"Trading for Gay shouldn't be difficult with his value so low. Teams know Gay wants out of Sacramento so it shouldn't be hard for the Rockets to pry him away. Corey Brewer would likely be one of a few pieces headed to Sacramento in such a deal," Pollak wrote.

However, Yibada says that the Kings might not be attracted by such offer and the Rockets might have to add Patrick Beverley to the trading block to make the deal harder to resist.

As fans know, Gay is not shy to admit that he is no longer happy with the Kings. He has since then spoke to the team's general manager Vlade Divac, although he might still end up moving out.

"I can't say since Monday stuff has changed, but I just feel like we have a little bit of time to start changing things," Gay told ABC10.

"Last year, it's like they pulled the carpet out from under me, a little bit. I felt like I was in jail - like I was hindered. But, I can't sit back and let that happen anymore," the 29-year-old went on to say.
