"Rick and Morty" season 2 is still a month away but the early previews shown during the ATX Television Festival held in Austin, Texas have garnered nothing but positive reviews from those who got to see them.

According to a report from iDigital Times, Adult Swim has an embargo in place so those who got to see the two clips are not allowed to give away any specific details. That doesn't mean people can't praise or bash the content; they just can't spoil anything.

With that said, a good majority of the posts on Twitter hint that season 2 is going to be phenomenal. The report took the liberty of sharing some of the Twitter posts which repeatedly called the two previewed episodes "hysterical" and "amazing."

As pointed out by a report from Den of Geek, the only negative thing people can say about season 2 thus far is that it will only have 10 episodes instead of 11, although 10 really was the number that the studios were going for in the first place. Season 1 ended up with eleven because they included the pilot episode.

"Rick and Morty" tells the tale of an eccentric and alcoholic elderly scientist who moves in with his daughter's family. Most of season 1 showed Rick spending time with his grandson Morty, hence the title of the show, but the rest of the family eventually joined him in his crazy adventures through space and time.

Season 2 will see the return of the main cast as well as the inclusion of guest stars Alfred Molina, David Cross, Dana Carvey, and John Oliver. According to Den of Geek, the voices of Werner Herzog, Stephen Colbert, and Jim Rash are featured as well.

For those who haven't seen season 1, Adult Swim is offering all of the current 11 episodes for free streaming on the official "Rick and Morty" page and there will be a comic book series coming out this year as well.

"Rick and Morty" season 2 premieres this July 26.
