The highly popular "Resident Evil" game is on its way to achieving a remastered HD version, which will be publicly released in 2015.

In accordance with a report from the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, the current generation console edition of "Resident Evil" will reach Japan in November 27 of this year.

Fans from Europe and North America will be enjoying this version by 2015.

The game "Resident Evil" was originally designed for the Sony PlayStation in 1996. After receiving overwhelming appreciation by gamers, the game was then ported to other platforms.

In 2002, GameCube released its own version of the game, which was called "Remake". Images from this release were created by Japanese video game developer Capcom Inc.

In the 2015 "Resident Evil HD Remaster", Capcom's version of the images will be used. In addition, the 2002 release appears to be the basis of the new version.

Some features of the remastered edition will include enhanced graphics and updated game play. The impressive list of upgrades will provide users with options not offered in the original game.

The 2015 version will also offer Xbox One, PS4, and PC users with 1080p visuals. On the other hand, users of previous generation consoles, such as PS3 and Xbox 360, will be provided with 720p visuals.

"Resident Evil HD Remaster" players may also make use of the option to play the game in old display ratio of 4:3 or in widescreen 16:9 ratio.

The old fixed angles, which were identified as problematic concerns in the previous versions, will be replaced with a more versatile camera option. The developers believe that this is another upgrade fans will be thrilled to know.

According to Capcom, the new edition will be made available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms.
