'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' season 5 cast: Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna team up!

Now that Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna are confirmed to be joining the new season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," the two Lisas are joining forces against the other housewives.

RadarOnline reported that the new found friendship between the two was apparent when Vanderpump received a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame. Rinna was there, and so was her husband Harry Hamlin. The other people who were there were Lance Bass and Robert Kovacik. Obviously, there was no other Beverly Hills housewife in attendance.

Kyle Richards, who was always in Palm Springs wasn't there too. It made things clearer that Vanderpump may be looking to form an alliance with newcomer Rinna.

The source told RadarOnline, "Lisa Vanderpump is going out of her way to make sure that she can count on Lisa Rinna this season. Lisa V. was left out in the cold as all of the ladies turned on her." That explains why she's looking for a show buddy early on.

"Both of them have been social acquaintances for years, but Vanderpump is truly going the extra mile to welcome Lisa R. to the show," the source added.

Vanderpump didn't sign on immediately. She held the contract off, but eventually gave in when Bravo offered her a big pay raise. How big was the raise? The source said Vanderpump was earning $250,000 back then, and now, she is earning $500,000. As for Rinna, she made a trial run at Kyle Richard's party and when Bravo producers liked what they saw from her, she was given the final offer.

The source added, "It's going to be a very exciting season, and there have already been some fireworks! There will be tons of drama that will leave viewers wanting more." Can you really expect anything less of fireworks from the show?
