Very ominously titled "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?", "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 episode 7 hints at the possible return of Charles DiLaurentis, who could be planning to have some fun on his birthday. By fun, Charles means something along the lines of murder and horror.

The DiLaurentis patriarch has become very apprehensive ever since he received a letter, apparently from his own son he knows has long been dead. The message hinted at Charles coming home, which prompts Mr. D to get Alison and Jason as far away from their place as possible.

But for the Spencers and Hanna, Charles' return is the perfect opportunity for them to finally capture him. But as Melty pointed out, it most likely won't be that easy. "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 is so close yet so far in uncovering the mystery of "A's" identity.

For Emily and Aria, stopping Charles, who is presumably the hooded person on a rampage in the preview, is just too dangerous. The pair believes that staying away shouldn't get them killed. But as for Jason, his brother's return equals to his chance to "validate" his childhood memories that involve him.

In the middle of all the tribulations in the upcoming episode, fans will get to see Mike and Mona interact once more. However, it isn't the reunion fans expect as the synopsis indicates the latter "shutting out" the former.

Season 6 is three episodes away from revealing who it is that's responsible for the liars' torment, the person that wants them dead and their loved ones suffering, and the one that has been pulling the strings from the beginning. But if Alison's declaration that "[Charles] is alive, and he's coming for us" is accurate, then the liars are running out of time.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 episode 7 "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" airs July 21.
