After a year, the third season of the hit series "Power" has finally ended, and it featured death, discovery, betrayal, and threats. Furthermore, it also featured James "Ghost" St. Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick) getting cuffed by his ex-girlfriend Angela Valdez (played by Lela Loren). However, it seems that the fourth season of the series will be charged with even more tension.

According to Deadline, the aftermath of the season serves as the seed that will be used for the future season of "Power." The source also had an interview with the co-writer of the season finale, Courtney Kemp. She spoke about the reason behind the obsessive Agent Greg Knox's (played by Andy Bean) eventual demise despite the fact that he was reunited with Valdez, as well as Ghost's arrest and how "Power" shows events that will always lead to this outcome.

Kemp said that the reason behind Ghost's arrest is to show the character at his worst, as it is an important part of a character's redemption to go through challenging times. She also went so far as to say that they want to keep the viewers guessing until the end since a lot of people speculated that the "Power" series will be concluded after its third season.

With this, Kemp said that the next big plot point for the story is Ghost's fight to redeem himself from the wrongful charge against him, especially since he didn't kill Greg in the first place.

Cartermatt also reports that Angela is certainly in a precarious position right now since she was Ghost's former lover and the one responsible for his arrest. However, while she is right about the man committing criminal acts, she did not realize that it was Mike Sandoval (played by David Fumero) who pulled the trigger and killed Greg.

The fourth season of "Power" is expected to premiere on Starz next year.
