The newest installment of the "Power Rangers" movie franchise is still half a year away before its theatrical release, but the film's cast members are already excited to talk about what fans should look forward to in the upcoming movie.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, "Breaking Bad" alum Bryan Cranston revealed that he was initially uninterested to portray the role of the Power Rangers mentor, Zordon. He said that he could still remember that the "Power Rangers" TV series where he used to lend his voice to "was kind of farcical and silly and 'pow' and 'zow.'" But his opinion changed when he started to read the script and talked to the film's producer.

According to the actor, he realized that the upcoming film is very different from the TV version. "There are tenets of the folklore that you hold onto for sure, but the inspiration is different, and the sensibility of it, and the approach to the film making is completely different," Cranston said.

Meanwhile, Becky G told Entertainment Weekly that she felt nervous but very excited when she walked on the set of "Power Rangers" wearing her full Yellow Ranger costume for the first time. The newbie actress claimed that she felt pressured to portray her role properly since she is already working with stellar actors, like Elizabeth Banks, in her first movie.

She also recalled that she told Banks to never hesitate to put pressure on her neck whenever they have to shoot the action-packed confrontation scenes as Yellow Ranger and the evil villainess, Rita Repulsa.

The 19-year-old actress also revealed that they are almost done with the shooting, but they still have to do a number of reshoots in the coming days.

Other cast members of "Power Rangers" movie include Dacre Montgomery as Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack Taylor/Black Ranger, and Naomi Scott as Kimberly Hart/Pink Ranger.

The "Power Rangers" movie is slated to premiere on March 24, 2017.
