Fans of Pokémon X & Y who are living in Japan are in for a treat, after the game's publisher announced that they will allow users to get hold of the popular Ghost-type Pokémon Gengar in its newest form in that country alone.

Based on the upcoming promotion scheduled for Halloween dubbed as "White Gengar," the sparkling Gengar is handed over to Trainers in a Dusk Ball as is reportedly set at Level 25. In addition, the latest moveset for Pokémon is also revealed, including Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Astonish, as well as Sludge Wave.

A forum in Serebii stated that Gengar is not originally allowed to learn how to use the Sludge Wave, that is why the lucky Japanese Pokémon X and Y users will experience this very special Pokémon treat.

The event, which will run from September 13 to October 14, will allow participants to get a Mega Stone called Gengarite together with the Gengar. It will allow them to choose using a white Mega Gengar while in combat.

However, there are no other specific information given about which stores will host the said event in Japan. It is expected to hear more news about it in the coming days.

Another announcement had been made in August 28, stating that Pokémon X & Y will conduct an upcoming worldwide battle contest that will be called "Fairy Garden" sometime in September. Based on its name, the game users are speculating that the battle will focus on Fairy-type Pokémon. It will run from September 26 to 28, and registration prior to the game will begin on September 18 and will end on September 25.

In addition, Nintendo also announced that the much-awaited Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will get steelbook bundles in its European market.

The Pokémon Omega Ruby as well as the Alpha Sapphire will be out worldwide on Nintendo 3DS starting November this year.
