The latest issue of the Japanese monthly manga magazine CoroCoro revealed two adorable-looking Pokémon. However, it is not clear if they will be included in the upcoming games "Pokémon Sun & Moon," which are scheduled to arrive for Nintendo 3DS in North America and Japan on Nov. 18.

Siliconera reported that a Rock-type puppy called Iwanko, and a Normal-type koala bear called Nekkoala Pokémon were revealed by the magazine. It also said that Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio, the three new starters in the game, shares a secret with the puppy character.

Iwanko is a non-starter character that features Keen Eye and Vital Spirit abilities. Its precision will not be affected no matter the circumstances. Meanwhile, Nekkoala has the Definite Sleep ability, which can't be affected by any status other than sleep.

The magazine also showed the two new characters with Rotom Pokédex and QR Scanner, which are new features for the upcoming game.

Kotaku reported that a character from "Pokemon X and Y" will be included in the new game, Zygarde. It is speculated that the returning character will be featuring two forms, one for "Pokémon Sun" and the other for "Pokémon Moon." The character is shown to have a dog-like normal appearance but will transform into a robot-like image in its final form.

A group of islands called the Alola region is the setting for the upcoming game. A Pokémon fanatic and YouTube content creator, named Verlisify, has a theory that the region hides a great underwater area, which no one has seen before, Inquisitr stated in its report.

Verlisify pointed out on the game's artwork featuring an island located on the top right, called OmaOma, contains a stairwell in its westernmost part and could possibly lead to the underwater city that fans have been hoping for. Alola is by far the most watery region ever featured in a Pokémon game.

Another possible place that the staircase may lead to is another portion of Alola, an underwater volcano, or the Victory Road, which may lead up to the four toughest Pokémon Trainers in the region, the Elite Four.

Fans are expecting to hear additional news for "Pokémon Sun & Moon" at the ongoing E3 2016.
