There's an ongoing competition in "Pokémon Shuffle" that could land some skilled and fortunate players the rare item known as Absolite.

For those who may want to know, Absolite is required to mega evolve Absol in the game. The result from this evolution will be a Pokémon known as Mega Absol, and it has the ability to erase its fellow creatures from the top right corner to the lower left corner in a diagonal pattern, according to iDigital Times.

Considering the valuable ability of Mega Absol, it will not be easy to snag the Absolite needed to acquire this Pokémon. In order to secure the precious material from the competition, players will have to rank in the top 50,000 in Japan, in the top 12,000 in Europe, and in the top 20,000 in North America, according to Serebii.

The Absolite competition is open only to "Pokémon Shuffle" players on the Nintendo 3DS and it is scheduled to end on Oct. 12, so there's not a lot of time for players to make sure they grab their spot and secure it until the end.

In addition to Mega Absol, now potentially becoming available to "Pokémon Shuffle" players, there will be two other Pokémon for fans to look out for.

First off is the returning Dialga, although this Pokémon will not be around for long. For mobile players, Dialga can be captured any time between now all the way up to Oct. 19. For those who have the Nintendo 3DS version of "Pokemon Shuffle," they can get Dialga up until Oct. 12.

The other Pokémon will be making its debut in "Pokémon Shuffle," and it is none other than Palkia, which will be available on both the mobile and Nintendo 3DS versions of "Pokemon Shuffle." Palkia can be captured up until Oct. 19.

The Latias Escalation Battle is also still ongoing for "Pokémon Shuffle" players.
