It is anticipated that the Gen 2 update of "Pokemon GO" will include Baby Pokemon. Meanwhile, the game will be updating a new feature wherein players can regularly receive daily bonuses.

There have been a lot of reports speculating about the new features of the upcoming "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 update that Niantic is already working. Player-versus-player, Pokemon events, and access to Legendary Birds are among the list of features than gamers can expect in the new Gen 2 update.

Another feature which is anticipated to be included in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 are Baby Pokemon. According to Pokemon GO Hub, Baby Pokemon was included in the second generation of "Pokemon" games, which is why it would make sense for Niantic to include it in their Gen 2 update of "Pokemon GO."

Some of the Baby Pokemon available are Pichu (Pikachu), Smoochum (Jynx), Tyrogue (Hitmonlee), and Igglybuff (Jigglypuff).

If Baby Pokemon were to be included in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2, it would make sense if hatched egg resulted in Baby Pokemon rather than the evolution Pokemon.

Another anticipated new additions to Gen 2 is the Pokemon Unown. The Unown Pokemon does not have any evolving forms, but it has a total of 28 derivative shapes. In the second generation, the shape taken by the Unown is determined by its individual value. In Generation III, its shape is determined by its personality while in Generation IV, an identifier determines the Unown's shape value.

The Unown would be a great opportunity for "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 to add puzzles which can contribute to the difficulty level in the game.

In the current "Pokemon GO," they will be adding a new feature where daily bonuses will be rewarded to gamers. According to Pokemon GO Live, certain daily activities will have corresponding incentives. Some of the daily bonuses are 500 XP and 600 Stardust for catching a Pokemon every day, while 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust are awarded for catching Pokemon for seven days straight.

"Pokemon GO" Gen 2 is expected to launch in 2017.
