The titles included in the PlayStation Plus list of free games for September 2015 has finally been released. Sony made this list extra special by allowing PS Plus members to vote on the title that they want to play for free through the Vote to Play campaign.

In the official PlayStation website, Sony revealed that the first title that will be released as one of September's free games is the adventure platform video game "Grow Home" developed by Ubisoft Reflections, which got the top spot in the poll..

The game focuses on the robot called B.U.D. who needs to grow a plant known as the "Star Plant" that will provide oxygen in his home planet. "Grow Home" was first released for PC on Feb. 4, and it will debut on the PlayStation 4 at the start of the upcoming month.

"Grow Home" was not initially planned to be released to the public since it was only an experimental project that was developed by an eight-person team from the game studio. It was supposed to be launched only for the staff, but the management of Ubisoft decided to release it to the public after its successful testing stage.

The open world environment of the game has been highly commended by game critics because of its map and fantastic visuals.

Meanwhile, the other titles that will come out for free in the upcoming month include:

  • Super Time Force Ultra – PlayStation 4 and PS Vita
  • Xeodrifters – PlayStation 4 and PS Vita
  • Teslagrad – PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3
  • Twisted Metal – PlayStation 3
  • La Mulana EX – PS Vita

Also, "Armello" and "Zombie Vikings," the two other game titles that missed the top spot in the poll during the Vote to Play period for September, can still be purchased for a discounted price from Sept. 1 to 15.

The PlayStation Plus free games for September 2015 can be downloaded starting the first Tuesday of the month.
