With the month of June around the corner, subscribers of PlayStation Plus are excited to learn about next month's lineup of free games that Sony will give away.

One of the titles rumored to be part of the PS Plus free game list for June 2016 is "Watch Dogs," simply because it will be a great way to invite more players to the series before the sequel "Watch Dogs 2" is released.

The open world action-adventure third-person shooter stealth video game follows grey hat hacker Aiden Pearce, whose life turns around after a hacking job gone wrong. In the event this title becomes a PS Plus free game next month, subscribers will learn how his failed hacking attempt invited the attention of a group that hunted him, only to end up killing his niece.

The tragedy pushed Aiden to hunt the persons responsible for the crime as he protects his sister from being the next victim. "Watch Dogs" was released back in November to a positive reception.

It has already spawned a sequel, which, according to leaks, will feature a new protagonist or at least a new look for Aiden. Releasing it as a PS Plus freebie for June will certainly attract more interest for "Watch Dogs 2."

Apart from "Watch Dogs," another game expected to be released for free to PS Plus free games subscribers is "Resident Evil: HD Remaster," an improved version of the classic that's more than a decade old.

The survival horror game's high-definition edition will definitely make long-time fans very happy and will also invite more fans. It will also be a great PS Plus free game title since "Resident Evil 2" is already in the pipeline.

Another PS Plus free game prediction is "The Evil Within," a third-person psychological survival horror video released in 2014. Rumor has it that a sequel for this game is in the works.

Whether or not these titles end up on the list, fans will know later this week.
