Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry dating rumors debunked

It has been four years since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in London. Now, many royal watchers are wondering if another royal wedding will be in the works very soon.

Right now, all eyes are on single royals such as Prince Harry and his cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. But one member of the Duchess's family has also drawn the public's interest as Pippa Middleton's love life has been on the media's radar in recent years.

While the Duchess' youngest sister previously dated banker Alex Loudon and stockbroker Nico Jackson, a new report claims that Middleton and Prince Harry had a "secret romance," and many thought that another Middleton might be joining the royal family very soon.

Last month, OK! Magazine claimed to have the exclusive story on Middleton and the 31-year-old royal's relationship. It said that the Prince first noticed Middleton at the royal wedding where he served as the Duke's best man while Middleton was her sister's maid of honor. A source allegedly said to the magazine (via the Daily Mail) that the two spent the entire reception flirting and were even caught by the Duchess kissing in a bathroom.

The article then went on the say that the Prince pursued Middleton for months, claiming that she didn't reciprocate as Middleton allegedly did not want to upset her sister. Eventually, the two are said to have moved on with other people, but the magazine claims that the attraction between them never ended.

Meanwhile, other media outlets have questioned the authenticity of the magazine's claims. The Daily Beast says that while a relationship between Prince Harry and the Duchess' younger sister is what some people may be hoping for, "there's a difference between wanting something to be so and putting it on the front cover of your magazine."

The media outlet then pointed out how OK! took pains to combine separate pictures of the two on the cover, both of them wearing swimming gear, with the headline, "Caught!"

The Daily Beast also cited previous inaccurate reports by the magazine, which claimed in the last few months that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are expecting a child and that the Duchess herself is pregnant with twins.

The Daily Beast further states that the story has been "shot down" and "ridiculed" by mainstream media since its publication and that the palace has declined to issue a rebuttal.
