"Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson has a couple of ideas on how Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump can win over the evangelical crowd once and for all, and he is not shy about sharing his views.

He said in a video posted by Right Wing Watch that Trump's past sins and scandals could be forgiven and forgotten by his naysayers if only he makes a high-profile conversion to evangelical Christianity.

"If he but be born again, he could then tell them, 'That's the old me, I've been born again, this is the new Donald Trump,'" Robertson said.

Robertson, who previously supported Trump's rival Ted Cruz, even offered his services as the business magnate's spiritual advisor. He already envisions being a part of Trump's Cabinet meeting, where he would be the one to ground the president on God's Word.

"Now, that would send a shock wave through America," he said. "The left-wingers would be jumping out of buildings."

Robertson said he will surely vote for Trump this November because he does not want Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton to win. He stressed the need for America to reclaim its moral high ground since America has lost it when its leadership supported abortion.

He even compared abortion to the brutal acts committed by the Islamic State, saying those two things are actually no different.

"We've killed 60 million of our own children," he said. "ISIS is saying to us, 'Well, if you didn't think your own children were worth anything, why do you think we're worried about what your life is worth? We don't think you're worth anything, that's why we're killing you. Just like you kill your children, that's why we kill you. We don't think you're worth anything.'"

The reality star strongly believes that if Americans can boldly tell them, "No, to us life is precious," then things would be much different.
