Phaedra Parks posted some of the attributes of a virtuous woman ahead of the drama-filled season seven premiere of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" on Sunday night.

"She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25," Parks wrote. "What are you really wearing today? #strength #dignity #joy #bible."

The reality star frequently posts positive messages on her social media accounts, and has presented a brave and spiritually-focused face during her husband's well-publicised legal problems.

Apollo Nida is currently in federal prison in Lexington, Kentucky serving an eight-year sentence for mail, bank, and wire fraud. Nida and Parks were married in 2009 and have two sons: Aydan, 4, and Dylan, 1.

Parks confirmed last month that the couple is divorcing, and the breakdown of their marriage was the central story of Sunday night's "RHOA" premiere. It appeared that the couple's distress came to a head when Parks did not appear at her husband's sentencing.

"I am not a murderer, I am not a child molester," Nida told Bravo's cameras before his court date. "I was not the person on the corner selling cocaine. I understand what I have done is illegal and wrong, but it is fixable.

"My wife and children left me. The woman I thought was supposed to be there for me and to cherish me is nowhere to be found."

Parks explained to her mother why she would not appear at the hearing.

"Whether I go to court or not is not going change anything," she said.

"Apollo's actions constitute the ultimate betrayal because I trusted him and I thought he was a changed man.

"I am not going to subject my kids to any of this crazy press stuff because I do not want them to have any idea about this disaster that is going on."

Two days after the sentencing, Nida and Parks had a heated argument over finances and his poor decisions.

"Were you thinking about your family when this happened?" Parks asked the 35-year-old. "You couldn't have been if you made the decisions you made. It was selfish on your part.

"What about the public shame?" she continued. "What about people looking at me cross eyed? I care about my good name that I had before I met you."

When Nida announced that he no longer wanted to be married to Parks, her reaction was dismissive.

"That's fine. Alright, bye bye," she said. "This is the first time he has mentioned wanting a divorce, and if that is what he wants then bon voyage."

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8pm ET on Bravo.
