Pebble Technology once again sought the help of users through Kickstarter to make the Pebble Time 2 possible and it looks like fans badly want to see a new line of wearables from the company.

The Redwood-based tech firm started a campaign on the site last May 24, setting its goal at $1 million. Two weeks into the fundraising, Pebble Technology has already earned more than 10 times the target.

It is half a million away from $11 million and the best part is that the Pebble 2 campaign still has three weeks to go. There are also almost 55,000 backers for the project. The overwhelming support of users had Pebble "blown away."

"You charged hard out of the gates to affirm your belief in our vision for the future of wearable technology. We couldn't be more humbled and appreciative of your confidence in us. Making you proud to be a Pebbler is what we live for," the company wrote.

Because of the unbelievable swamp of support, the company will now able to ship Pebble Time 2 units by fall of this year. The tech firm promises to keep fans up to speed as they go about the project.

Pebble Technology has everything designed and outlined prior to launching the Kickstarter campaign. The Pebble Time 2 is expected to boast a new sleeker and slimmer design than the original.

The device is getting a stainless steel body and will now be able to monitor heart rate. It is also touted to last 10 hours with smoother music control and SMS voice reply. The Pebble Time 2 will also be able to track if the wearer is sleep or awake.

According to Forbes, the Pebble Time 2 is also being put together by Pebble with taking on the fitness tracker market in mind. It will be bundled with the new Pebble Health app, which wearers can use for their fitness schedules and aid them with their workouts.

The Pebble Time 2 is priced at $179 and is now on pre-order.
