"Once Upon A Time" season 5 will see Emma in full Dark Swan mode. That said, the dagger that holds the power to take control of her is now up for grabs. Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White in the series, doesn't know who should take possession of it but she does know who shouldn't. 

"That is a discussion [and] that is absolutely addressed immediately," the actress told Entertainment Weekly. "I don't know that I would trust [the Charmings] with it."  

On the other hand, Josh Dallas, who portrays Prince Charming, revealed that whoever will get a hold of the dagger will not instantly enable them to control the Dark One. 

"There's also some caveats in how and when you can control the Dark One through the dagger," he said in the same interview. "Some things can be possible and some things are impossible."

Thus, it looks like it won't be easy for the Charmings to get Emma back to normal. Knowing this, "OUAT" season 5 will be full of action, drama and tension as Storybrooke's savior becomes its destroyer. 

Meanwhile, Regina, whose happy ending was the last thing that Emma fought for and was what caused her to turn her to the monster she is now, will not waste time in getting the Dark One out of Emma's system. This is something even Regina never thought of doing. 

"Yeah, I think Regina really hates owing anyone anything," Lana Parilla, who plays the character, told ET Online. "But for Emma, absolutely and for everyone. She's gonna do everything she can with everyone. It's like Operation Emma season five."  

It looks like Emma will be dark and sinister for quite a while. Will Regina and the group be successful in saving or stopping her?

"Once Upon A Time" season 5 premieres on Sept. 27.
