Rapper Nicki Minaj's upcoming album, "The Pinkprint," may be her most personal yet.

A newly released single entitled "All Things Go" discusses an abortion the YMCMB member had years ago, a past engagement, and a complicated family situation.

Minaj, whose real name is Onika Maraj, said that her aborted baby would have been 16 years old, which is the age of her younger brother, Micaiah.

"My child with Aaron, would've been sixteen, any minute," she rapped. "So in some ways I feel like 'Caiah, is the both of them/ It's like he's 'Caiah's little angel, looking over him/ And I know Jelani will always love me, and I'll always love him/ And I'm just his little sister not Nicki Minaj when I'm around him."

Minaj also discussed the death of her cousin, Nicholas Telemaque, who was shot multiple times and killed in July 2011.

"I lost my little cousin to a senseless act of violence," she began. "His sister said, he wanted to stay with me, but I didn't invite him/ Why didn't he ask, or am I just bugging?/ Cause since I got fame, they don't act the same/ Even though they know, that I love him/

"Family ties, broken before me, [expletive] tryin'a kill him, he ain't even call me/ And that's the reflection of me, yes I get it, I get it, it was all me/ I pop a pill and remember the look in his eyes, the last day he saw me."

The 31-year-old also referenced pill use in her singles "Pills N Potions" and "Bed of Lies," both of which appear on "The Pinkprint."

"I was killing it, now you got me popping pills in it," she said on the latter track. "Couldn't believe that I was home alone, contemplating overdosing, no more coasting, no more toasting over oceans."

"The Pinkprint" will be released on December 15.

Minaj has previously spoken about the influence of the Christian faith in her life, saying before that her father got saved from drugs through rehab and going to church.

She recently tweeted to her fans to forget about praying for riches and instead pray for wisdom.

Last year, she told Elle magazine about her daily prayers to become a better woman.

"I was praying every day, 'You know what, Lord? I want to be a mum one day, and I want to start becoming the woman who I want to parent my child,'" she told the publication.

"I wanted all of the feelings of entitlement to leave me, because some people have this life for a year or five or 10 - and a lot of them lose it. I didn't want to become a person who wasn't enjoying the moment."
