Limbless evangelist Nick Vujicic just paid a visit to Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao as the latter prepares for his upcoming bout with five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr., and the motivational Christian speaker is saying that he is praying for Pacquiao's safety.

Vujicic, however, clarified that his visit should not be misconstrued as taking sides. "I'm here not to take sides but to wish him luck and pray for his safety," he told PhilBoxing.com.

Vujicic visited Pacquiao together with his wife Kanae Miyahara and he added that he is deeply impressed not only by Pacquiao's boxing prowess, but also by his humility, generosity, and kindness.

During his visit, the limbless evangelist gave Pacquiao four copies of his book Love Without Limits and wrote a personal dedication to the Filipino boxer.

Pacquiao was touched by Vujicic's visit and shared a photo taken of his family with Vujicic and his wife. "Thank you @nickvujicic for visiting us tonight. You inspire me to be thankful and to love the Lord more everyday," he wrote on his Twitter account (@mannypacquiao).

Vujicic was not the first well-known Christian visitor Pacquiao had. Earlier, former National Football League (NFL) player Tim Tebow paid a visit to the boxer's gym and the two even called each other a "brother" in Christ.

Tebow shared the experience on his Instagram account (@timtebow) with a picture of himself and Pacquiao being interviewed by the Filipino media. He captioned the photo, "Awesome being with my Filipino and Christian brother." He described Pacquiao as an inspiration.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao is constantly sharing updates of his training on his social media page. He thanks the Lord every opportunity he gets, and he says God is the reason for his strength. Pacquiao added that it's difficult to train but he is very determined to see it through.

"Every day I must focus. In the gym and outside the gym. It's not easy but I have to focus and work hard everyday!" he said.
