Google is offering their current flagship smartphone, the Nexus 6, at discounted prices worldwide, which could mean that the computer software and technology products manufacturer is gearing up to launch their next smartphone soon.

The American smartphone market took advantage of the device's discounted price through Best Buy and Amazon last month. As much as $150 was reportedly slashed from the price of the Nexus 6 for a limited period in June.

Now, the Indian and British markets are also given the chance to purchase the Motorola-manufactured smartphone at more affordable prices.

According to several websites, the Nexus 6 models can now purchased in the U.K. for as low as £399 for the 32 GB model, which used to be sold at £479. The 64 GB model, on the other hand, is now available at £479 which is cheaper compared to its original price of £549. The discounted prices can be availed at the official Google store online.

Meanwhile, the new Nexus 6 prices in India can be purchased in Flipkart for Rs 29,999 instead of Rs 44,999 for the 32 GB model, while the 64 GB variant is now available at Rs 34,999 instead of Rs 49,999.

The current price adjustments ignited the rumors regarding the release of the next Google smartphone, which is believed to be the 2015 version of the Nexus 5.

Reports claim that LG will be making the improved version of the smartphone that they also manufactured back in 2013. The new Nexus 5 2015 will allegedly come out with a 5.2-inch screen display, a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor, as well as a 2700 mAh battery pack.

The upcoming Nexus 5 2015 version will reportedly feature the next Android operating system, which is believed to be the Android M.
