Those who are expecting to soon see the 2015 version of Google's Nexus 5 may get a little disappointed as the rumors claiming that it will come out sooner than later is possibly untrue. 

Google has a history of posting its upcoming products online first before making an official announcement, just like what it did with the first Nexus 5. Thus, when it was reported by AndroidPit that the new Nexus 5 version, dubbed as the Google Nexus 2015, was already featured on the official Android website, there were immediate speculations that the device would come out soon. 

However, AndroidPit recently discovered that the image came from a commercial image archive. It means that the Nexus 5 2015 might not be released earlier than the expected October 2015 schedule. 

The new version of the Nexus 5 will allegedly come with a 5.2-inch display with FHD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, and a Snapdragon 808 processor. It is also reported that it will be packed with a 3 GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary shooter for selfie shots and video calling purposes, as well as a 2700 mAh battery. 

However, other reports claim that the upcoming device will have a slightly bigger 5.7-inch OLED screen with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, a Snapdragon 810 processor, as well as a 3,500 mAh battery. The device will also come with the latest Android operating system, which is tentatively called Android M. 

Also, according to earlier reports, the new Nexus 5 2015 from LG will be released alongside another Google phablet to be manufactured by Huawei. 

The Google Nexus 5 2015 will allegedly cost less than $500 when it comes out in the market, but the company has yet to reveal if the rumors are accurate.
