The New York Rangers will play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night, hoping to keep their NHL Stanley Cup 2015 Playoff hopes alive. Game 4 will be a tense affair after a massive battle between these two teams in Game 3. However, it is the Lightning that have the advantage and come into today's game 2-1 up after their win in Game 3.

Tonight's big match up between the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET and takes place from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The game will be broadcast live on TV on the NBCS network, but can also be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

Tampa Bay will be desperate to turn the screw against the Rangers tonight. They are 2-1 up and have the chance to put some space between them and their Playoff rivals if they can win in front of their home fans again tonight.

If the Lightning do manage to win this Eastern Conference Final against the Rangers they will make it to their first Stanley Cup Final since 2004. However, they can bank on the Rangers coming all out to try and square things up against tonight.

Game 3 was an eventful match up with goals galore. However, it was the Lightning who eventually came out on top in a 6-5 victory in overtime.

The Rangers must find a way to slow down the Lightning offense, which has scored 12 goals against them in the past two games. If they continue to allow six goals per game it will be almost impossible for them to get back into this series.

Steven Stamkos has spoken about Tampa Bay's strategy to play a fast game to overwhelm their opponents.

He has said: "I think it's just playing fast. Both these teams in this conference final want to play fast. I think that's been our identity all season long -- transition and getting our D to move the puck up quick -- but at the same time we're successful only when we do that with structure."

He added, "It's not trying to always use our skill and stickhandle through the neutral zone or make plays that aren't always there. We're most effective when we can do that with speed, when we can attack with speed, get pucks in deep and then let the skill and the speed go to work. For the most part in the last couple games, we've been able to do that and we've had success."
