Natalie Dormer is famous for her role as Margaery Tyrell, the ambitious and scheming bride of King Geoffrey in "Game of Thrones." But during her break as one of King's Landing's most devious social climbers – when the 32-year old British actress wasn't strutting in rich silken gowns and conniving to get more political power – she was busy running around the districts in Panem wearing military gear and documenting footages for the rebels' propaganda in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."

For the filming of the third and fourth installments of "The Hunger Games" movie franchise, Dormer had to have the hair on the left side of her head shaven off. This is to stay true to her character, Cressida. Her role is to capture the Mockingjay (Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence) on film for the rebellion's cause. This also required Dormer to do some heavy action while filming.

In an interview with Yahoo! Style, Dormer said, "Oh, I was glad to be out of the flowing silk skirts and to be running around with a semi-automatic rifle and army gear for a while. It was fun to be with the boys in the mud and the dirt, and being empowered in a physical sense."

But she continued, "And now, after nine months of running around in dirt and water, it's nice to get back into Margaery's silk skirts."

While it is believed that Cressida survives the crisis in Panem, it's uncertain if Margaery would be as lucky in King's Landing. When asked if she thinks her character would be beheaded in the TV series, she said, "I don't think they're going to do that. I don't know how... It's an occupational hazard as an actor in Thrones to contemplate how they're gonna kill you. I've had too many sharp things taken to my head recently, so maybe some poisoning or being burnt by a dragon or something would be a better way to go."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1" is scheduled to be released in the US on Nov. 21 and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2" will roll out in theaters on Nov. 20, 2015. Meanwhile, the fifth season of "Game of Thrones" won't be shown until next year.
