The largest mission conference in central Canada estimates that more than 20,000 people will attend the three-day event which features some of the top names in Christianity.

MissionFest Toronto 2007 will kick-off on Mar. 1 and run until Mar. 3 with the theme of "We Speak to Nations." The annual event will include 200 exhibitors, educational seminars, concerts, and interactive family activities.

Featured speakers and performers include Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse; Grammy-award winning artist Rebecca St. James; and sought-after speaker Ravi Zacharias, whose radio program broadcasts to over 1,500 stations worldwide.

"We look forward to being a part of this gathering that celebrates and promotes worldwide mission," said Kevin Jeffreys, spokesperson for Apostolos Campus Ministry, a U.S.-based international ministry for college students with branches in 120 countries.

"At MissionFest, ACM hopes to not only receive but also use the opportunity to share God's faithfulness in our ministry and unite with other Christian groups to deliver the Gospel message more effectively."

The 12th annual MissionFest Toronto will continue its visions to celebrate the worldwide impact of Christian mission, challenge Christians to pray and play a role in missions, and mobilize human and financial resources for mission.

Some of the highlights of the event include the Children's program where kids can experience mission ventures on a simulated airplane and learn about tribal groups, the ENGAGE Youth Concert, the Pastors & Leaders' Conference, and the Women Forum among others.

"God's heart is with that one lost lamb," concluded Jeffreys. "By uniting with one another, the body of Christ can produce more shepherds to guide the world's lost and broken into a world of hope, joy, and love in Jesus Christ."
