19 Kids and Counting's matriarch Michelle Duggar might seem calm and composed, but she has her moments of doubt and helplessnes too.

Raising a huge family is no easy feat, because this means she has to deal with more "diapers, dishes, laundry, meals, cleanup, school lessons, baths, hugs, kisses, correction," Michelle wrote.

Sometimes things would get so overwhelming for Michelle that she would cry and tell the Lord, "I need your help, I can't do it all! I feel so inadequate!" This is exactly what happened to her while she was struggling to finish the laundry around 1am one day.

Right after crying, a small voice reminded her: "Michelle, it's easy to praise ME when things are going good, but are you willing to praise ME now?"

She resolved to praise the Lord that morning and began singing "The Joy of the Lord is My Strength" while doing the laundry. "In my heart there was a release as if a burden had been lifted. I finished the laundry at 2am and went to bed," she said.

Days later, she went to their piano teacher's home and tried to catch up on some paperwork. "Instead, I kept drifting off to sleep!" said Michelle. When the teacher asked if she was doing fine, Michelle replied that she was and that she was just feeling tired from finishing the laundry.

"As we talked more she said that she actually enjoyed doing laundry and that she would be glad to come and help me! That weekend when she arrived we had mountains of dirty laundry, and when she left we had nice, neat, orderly stacks of clean laundry!" shared Michelle.

And for 12 years now, their piano teacher will come to their house twice a week to help with laundry.

"God sent 'an angel' in answer to my cry for help," said Michelle. And she reminded all the mothers who are also struggling with moments of helplessness: "Where God guides He provides!"
