Michael Schumacher latest health news: updates kept to a minimum

Fans of Michael Schumacher are undoubtedly concerned and interested on the actual state of health of the F1 racing champ but it seems that everything will stay the way it is right now – silent.

It will be recalled that Michael's wife, Corinna Schumacher requested privacy as far as the progress of her husband is concerned. And it seems that one person has been doing the job well, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm.

An Italian publication revealed that Kehm has been the reason behind the silence on Schumacher's condition. It seems that Kehm makes it a point to monitor potential news releases on Schumacher and systematically sends out lawsuits should any newspaper or publication give out any kind of information concerning the fallen German driver.

Kehm's aggressive nature may be tied up with an earlier report that a laptop containing Schumacher's medical records were stolen. With the family wanting everything kept at a minimal, it could be that Kehm is making sure that any info based on the records and/or documents stored on the said laptop do not come out in the open.

Schumacher's condition has been tight-lipped and went as far as having the official medical staff to sign confidentiality agreements as well. That and of course heightened security over at the family's Swiss Mansion.

To date, Schumacher has been receiving round-the-clock medical attention from a team of 15 specialists. The team, made up of doctors and nurses, spend hours massaging the German driver's body in an effort to stimulate muscle mass.

Schumacher is still unable to move although he is able to respond using his eyes. The latest but unconfirmed reports say that Schumacher is still unable to speak and is bound on a wheelchair.

Schumacher woke up from a medically induced coma in June last year after a horrific ski accident in the French Alps in December of 2013.
