Goran Dragic was a late acquisition for the Miami Heat and though the franchise failed to make it to the playoffs, it doesn't seem likely that Dragic is going anywhere.

Nevertheless, Dragic may opt out of his contract but this doesn't necessarily mean that the Slovenian point guard will be leaving South Beach.

Rather, it is seen as a move to enter a long-term contract which would see Dragic sticking with the ballclub for a longer period of time.

Despite that daunting thought, multiple teams will still try to dangle contracts to Dragic despite knowing that the effort could be close to futile.

Among the teams that are expected to make run at Dragic include the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and the Sacramento Kings, teams which are in dire need of a point guard heading into the 2015-16 NBA season.

Dragic seems to be at home in Miami though he does have one qualm – a more uptempo style of basketball.

The Heat have been known to follow a slow tempo brand but Dragic has been used to the fast and uptempo style of play as witnessed by many during his stint with previous stints with the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets.

Dragic did try that during some of the Heat's games but it eventually reverted to the slow brand of basketball that coach Erik Spoesltra and president Pat Riley have grown accustomed to.

This seems to be the only issue between Dragic and the Heat, though it is not a major concern that could make Dragic think twice and jump ship. In all, seeing Dragic joining another team is pretty unlikely.

The NBA Free Agent period is still about a month and a half away and speculations are running wild on the upcoming free agents. Unfortunately despite the pitches coming his way, Dragic is believed to be fine with the Heat and will not be headed anywhere.
