The Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals will clash on NFL Thursday Night Football tonight to get Week 4's round of games underway. This could be an interesting game, and although the Bengals would ordinarily be hoping home field advantage could give them the edge, they are only 10-6 at home over the past two seasons. The Dolphins come into this game having avoided falling to 0-3 by the skin of their teeth. Last week the winless Cleveland Browns came up against the winless Dolphins, with both teams knowing that a win was vital to kick-start their season and avoid dropping to 0-3 - a predicament few teams comeback from to get into the postseason.

The game went back and forth with the lead alternating each quarter until the teams ended the fourth level on 24-24. The Dolphins only able to stay level after Cleveland missed a field goal right at the end of regulation.

In the end, the Dolphins clinched the priceless victory in overtime to secure their first win of the season. They will now be desperate to build on last week's victory and shock the Bengals.

The Bengals also come into today's game on 1-2, having fallen well short against the high flying Denver Broncos last week, losing out 29-17.

The Bengals were ahead after the first quarter, but after that they were always second best and holding on not to lose by more.

Cincinnati struggled against the powerful Broncos defense, and they will be looking forward to testing themselves out this week against a much weaker and unsure Dolphins' defensive unit.

Last week's loss to the Broncos was their second straight defeat, having lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-16 the week before.

So the Dolphins and Bengals both come into this game knowing they dare not lose a third game in four weeks.

Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has said, "Being 1-2, in my opinion, we need to definitely finish the quarter (of the season) at 2-2 and go from there, or else we put ourselves in a very tough bind for the rest of the season."

Meanwhile for the Bengals, they play their next two games on the road in Dallas and New England, which makes gaining a win in today's game all the more important if they are to really make a run for the postseason.
