Madeleine's Family moves Out of Portugal Resort

The parents of Madeleine McCann today moved out of the Portuguese holiday resort from where their daughter was abducted sixty days ago.

Kate and Gerry McCann packed their belongings along with thousands of letters and cards of support from around the world and moved to a nearby property with their two-year-old twins, Sean and Amelie.

For the last two months, they have lived in one apartment at the Mark Warner resort in the Algarve town of Praia da Luz, while using a second flat as an office to run the global search for Madeleine.

The McCanns, from Rothley in Leicestershire, have said they plan to stay in Portugal at least until the end of the summer and are "determined" to come back to the UK with their eldest child.

The couple have held onto their Catholic faith throughout their ordeal of searching for their daughter, regularly attending a local Catholic church as well as travelling to Rome to meet Pope Benedict XVI, who prayed for the missing British girl.

Madeleine vanished 3 May after her parents left her and her siblings sleeping in their holiday apartment while they went to a nearby tapas bar inside their hotel complex.
