There are many good things to arrive with the MacBook Pro 2016, which include Touch ID, OLED function keys, USB-C port, macOS Sierra and a few more. That is if rumors are true. Word on the street is it will see the light of day by the fourth quarter.

MacRumors reported that the Cupertino-based tech giant will be introducing new 13-inch and 15-inch models of the MacBook Pros before the year ends. The upcoming laptops will arrive thinner and lighter than its predecessor, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI Securities analyst.

Multiple reports mentioned that a dedicated Touch ID button may be incorporated, similar to the iPhones that carry the security feature. The new design reportedly will also feature an OLED touch panel display, with buttons that change according to the application in use. It will be located at the topmost portion of the keyboard, similar to the function keys location.

The MacBook Pro 2016 is also believed to be carrying USB-C ports, and there will be four of them, while its operating system will be macOS Sierra. The latest operating system was announced during the WWDC 2016 event last month, and it is only fitting to be loaded on the latest laptop.

Additionally, industry experts are suggesting that the display will offer the same resolution as before, 2304 x 1440, but Apple can increase its pixel per inch value, currently at 226 ppi, to 400 to 500 ppi. Fans grew to like the Butterfly key mechanism of its keyboard, thus is expected to arrive with the new model. Fans like the easy-to-type keys on the previous model, MacWorld stated.

Inside the chassis, the sixth-generation Intel Skylake processor will likely power the laptop that will bring significant increase in terms of performance. Its GPU will also be upgraded, especially now that graphics card giants NVIDIA and AMD have already introduced their latest creations.

Apple has not yet officially acknowledged that the MacBook Pro 2016 is in existence. These are just some of the rumors going around the community.
