Los Angeles Lakers news: Nick Young makes indirect swipe at Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to spiral down in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Western Conference standings and are apparently at an all-time low.

Despite being upbeat before they took the floor against the streaking Golden State Warriors last Tuesday, the Lakers were simply outclassed in that match, with Kobe Bryant having perhaps the worst shooting night of his NBA career.

Bryant hit just one of 14 shots from the field and the sorry performance has led many to question if the 37-year-old Lakers star still has it in him to play like the explosive player that he was in the past years.

And while critics from all around let their opinions known, there was at least one guy on the team who was unafraid to send feelers obviously aimed at Bryant.

Nick Young was interviewed on what happened on that night and the player known to some as "Swaggy P" could only reply in a general voice, although it was apparent that he was singling out Bryant.

Kobe has been known to hog the ball for most parts of his career and with head coach Byron Scott making it known that he has the privilege to take as many shots as he wants, Bryant does just that.

The only problem is, not a lot of those shots are making it through the ring, and such just makes matters worse for the Lakers moving forward.

For the record, Nick Young is one player who has been long tied up to potential trade rumors. He has seen a dip in playing time ever since returning from injury since he does play the guard position which is the same as Bryant's.

On whether his comments would be heard or not remains to be seen. The only thing sure right now is that the Lakers are in a mess; if these issues aren't addressed soon, something is bound to explode.
