Leading travel website TripAdvisor has announced that London tops its list of most reviewed cities in the world.
With 459,406 reviews in 2013, the capital of England is way ahead of its competitors, the nearest of which are Rome, with 365,867 reviews, and Paris, which has been reviewed 318,418 times in the past year, TripAdvisor has revealed.
The website is the world's largest travel community, allowing users to contribute their reviews of hotels, restaurants, attractions and cities.
It boasts a community of over 32 million members, receives more than 260 million unique visitors each month, and offers an astonishing 80 new posts each minute.
According to new research, members from the US have contributed the most content overall, followed by the UK.
However, those in Singapore appear to have more to say, writing the most number of characters per review, although the UK is not far behind in third place.
Belgium features the most helpful reviewers, followed by Russia and the Ukraine, as voted for by visitors to the site.
A member known as '205ChrisH' was named as the top UK contributor, with a total of 503 reviews, while 'Sandygranny' has been deemed to be the most useful British reviewer, with 15,235 people 'helpful' votes.
And while London itself is the world's most reviewed city, our Harry Potter obsession means that the Warner Bros. Studio Tour has been named as the UK's most reviewed attraction. And if you're in Bath and looking for a bite to eat, TripAdvisor notes that the city's Sotto Sotto is the site's most reviewed restaurant.
