Stargirl is finally introduced via the latest trailer of DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

Also known as Courtney Whitmore, Stargirl is part of the Justice Society of America who teamed up with Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his crew aboard the Waverider to defeat all the villains in the upcoming season.

Based on the trailer, Stargirl's costume seems to be taken straight from the DC Comics series. Her costume features a single large star on her chest and three stars can also be seen on both her arms. She is also using her powerful cosmic staff as she attacks one of their enemies.

The teaser also teased that Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz) will have a high-profile lover in DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

In the sneak peek, Sara was seen having a steamy make out session with the Queen of France. But Rip Hunter was obviously not pleased with it. However, Sara claimed that it was the queen who flirted with her in the first place.

Meanwhile, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed several information about the plot of DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 in an interview with Collider during the 2016 Television Critics Association summer press tour in August.

According to Guggenheim, the season will begin six months after the heroes started taking over the Time Masters' job after they obliterated them during the first season.

"Everyone is in a little bit of a different place. Sara has a secret agenda that relates to the death of her sister on Arrow last year. Rip is a little lighter. He's no longer as burdened by the death of his wife and son. Ray (Brandon Routh) is really enjoying being a time cop. He's the one who aspires the most to be a hero, and he really likes this new gig that they have. Jax (Franz Drameh) has come into his own, as the engineer and chief mechanic of the Waverider. He's carved out a place for himself on the team that's separate and apart from his relationship with Stein (Victor Garber). Stein has become the theoretician of the team. And Rory (Dominic Purcell) is basically just trying to white-knuckle his way through the whole experience."

Aside from Stargirl, other Justice Society of America members will also appear in the upcoming episodes of DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. They include Dr. Nathan Heywood (Nick Zano), Nathan's grandfather Henry Heywood/Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), and Obsidian/Todd James Rice (Lance Henricksen).

Other new cast additions include Vixen/Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Dark Archer/Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), as well as Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher).

DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 13, on The CW.
