Grammy award-winning Christian rapper Lecrae's music is currenly being played in Louisville strip clubs and his music is slowly changing the lives of its dancers, bouncers, and even owners.

Rapzilla reported that Scarlet Hope, a non-profit organisation that shares home-cooked meals and the gospel of Jesus Christ with adult dancers went to different Louisville clubs and handed over Lecrae's Rehab CDs and asked that they give it a try.

"The lyrics that Lecrae is writing are very tangible for dancers to grasp," Rachelle Starr, founder of Scarlet Hope said. "It's a lot of what they've been through. It's a lot of what they seek. It's very relatable. And he presents the gospel very well through his music."

Club owners were all hesitant to play Lecrae's music in the beginning, but Starr would say, "Lecrae's a Christian rapper. He just won a Grammy, and I think you guys would really like it."

Once they listened to his tracks, however, DJs and club owners alike warmed to it. Starr's first suggestion would always be album track number 2, which is "Killa."

Other songs the clubs have come to love include "Divine Intervention," "Just Like You," "Gotta Know," and "Used To Do It Too."

Lecrae's music is so good that a lot of first-time listeners would ask the DJ or owner what song is currently being played. And when a club owner once met a troubled customer looking for guidance, they prayed together and the owner handed over the Rehab CD.

"You need to go listen to this," the owner said and the customer walked away from the club with Lecrae's CD in hand, she says.
