New pictures of the upcoming Nike LeBron 13 have surfaced online and it appears that most people do not quite like the newest signature sneaker of "The King."

Kicks on Fire reports that a lot of the comments they received in their Instagram post about the latest of the LeBron line were negative. A handful even expressed their disappointment that the shoes could not possibly be the LeBron 13, which everybody has been keeping tabs on for a long time. The new photos show the pair featuring a stretch fit upper, mid-foot plate, low-cut heel, and asymmetrical lacing system.

According to the specifications given by the website early on, "The model seems to be treated in a Cleveland Cavaliers' inspired palette with red utilized for its upper. Bright crimson accents grace the Nike Flywire system, Swoosh, while the heel bears touches of black to further pronounce its makeup. Situated atop is a white midsole unit equipped with Hexagonal Zoom Air cushioning."

Up until the Elite Academy held in Santa Monica where James showed off Nike's latest line, no images of the controversial shoes had been revealed. Even "The King" seemed to love teasing his followers, as after the fabled debut, he had reverted to using LeBron 12 Low for his off-season travels, Sneaker News reports.

Nike has officially released signature sneakers for KD 8, which is the eighth Kevin Durant signature sneaker from Nike. It is expected that LeBron James' latest line, as well as those of Kobe Bryant and Kyrie Irving's, will also be unveiled soon. LeBron 13 is slated to launch in September after the basketball superstar goes to China for the Nike Rise tour.

Meanwhile, the brand's annual trip to China showed what could be the last of the colorways of LeBron's 12th model before the release of LeBron 13. The 12 Low, which is available only in Asia at the moment, has posite heel and white midsole with multi-color paint speckling. As of now, there is no news yet on when the sneakers will arrive in the United States.
