It seems like the phenomenal Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Lady Gaga will be adding another feather in her cap. This time, she will venture into the world of television, having signed up for the next installment of FX's hit horror anthology series "American Horror Story."

The Mother Monster posted a video on her Twitter account, where she donned a creepy-looking sequined black mask. In that video, Lady Gaga blurted out the words "American Horror Story Season 5 Hotel," in reference to Ryan Murphy's popular TV series.

Although Gaga did not reveal any further details about her possible role in the series, viewers can be guaranteed that the new season of "American Horror Story" will be extra creepy with her in it.

The singer may have limited acting credentials under her belt at the moment, but she can boast off a few acting roles over the years, including her small support role in 2013's "Machete Kills" as well as "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" that was released last year.

In a 2010 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gaga talked about her utmost respect for Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the series creators of the show who also happen to be the same geniuses behind the comedy-musical TV show "Glee."

"I love Glee. I love the cast and the creativity of the writers. I went to a musical theater school and used to dream that some day the students would be singing my songs," she stated.

Now Gaga will have the chance to work with these creative people who also work for the highly acclaimed horror series.

However, Gaga's reveal about the plot of "American Horror Story" disproved the earlier fan theory that the theme for "AHS'" fifth season will tackle the dreadful effect of chemical warfare.

"American Horror Story" season 5 is slated to air its premiere episode in October, which means that Gaga's "little monsters" still have eight months left to wait for her debut on the popular TV series.
