Kim Kardashian has debuted a brand new blonde hair color weeks after the first photo of her daughter North West was revealed on her mother Kris Jenner's day time talk show. Many have been urging the reality TV star to ignore industry pressure to immediately slim down following the birth of her baby, but in recent news it appears as though she is committed to losing her post-baby weight as soon as possible.

The 32-year-old reality star only appeared to the public for the first time after her daughter's birth in a taped segment last month. However, it seems she is returning to the spotlight after she was photographed with her new look in Beverly Hills this weekend. See photo here.

Meanwhile, it seems Kardashian is succumbing to Hollywood demands and aiming to slim down and return to her pre-pregnancy weight. Latest reports suggest that the reality star is using a 'hypnoband' as she attempts to lose her post-baby weight.

Hypnoband is the hypnotherapy form of the gastric band, according to Yahoo! A source told Now magazine, "The therapist puts Kim in a semi-trance and then keeps repeating to her how she needs to eat healthily and work out. He shows her photos of herself looking super-slim. Kim's then hypnotized into thinking she has a gastric band and can only eat so much. Kim's always had a sweet tooth, but so far the hypnotherapy definitely seems to be working."

However, her mother Kris Jenner said in July that Kardashian still has "a way to go" with her weight loss. "She's not there yet. She is working hard. She's not there yet, and if she were there already, it would be freaky weird."

Kardashian gave birth to North West on June 15. Since then, she has kept a relatively low profile and has reportedly been working on losing her pregnancy weight.

Tracy Anderson, the celebrity fitness trainer who is working with Kardashian, told Us Weekly: "It will definitely be lots of muscular structure... in the beginning. It's key getting the deep abdominal muscles back and making sure that you get the strength back in the right layers. She's not going to be doing any typical crunches or anything like that."
