Khloé Kardashian responds to negativity after Bible verse tweets

Reality star Khloé Kardashian addressed social media negativity on her Twitter account on Sunday.

After posting an Instagram photo of a spiritual affirmation and Bible reference, she responded to the negative commenters on her page.

The Sunday morning tweet was a screenshot passage that read: "You say it's impossible. God says, 'All things are possible with Me' (Matthew 19:26)."

The paraphrased passage is Jesus' address to his disciples after telling them that "a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:23, King James Version).

The passage continues, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24).

The disciples were amazed, and asked, "Who then can be saved?" (Matthew 19:25).

Jesus replied, "With men, this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).

The youngest Kardashian girl captioned the inspirational tweet with a heart symbol, and the majority of the over 3,000 comments on her Instagram and Twitter feeds were positive. However there was some negativity, including one person who tweeted, "Shut up nobody cares you're trash," in response.

In response to the messages, Khloé, 30, tweeted that she cannot please everyone.

"No matter what I post, there will always be people who have to spew out hate," she wrote.

"Even when I post positive affirmations, sunsets, bible verses etc... I STILL manage to get bitter people commenting hateful things.

"This is proof that no matter what you do you can never please everybody. So remember, always do what makes your heart smile. Stay smiling my loves," she added, including another heart symbol.

The combined tweets received over 8,000 retweets and over 20,000 favorites.
