Fans are still looking forward to the Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole album, but it might not happen after all and it is reportedly due to the busy schedules of the rappers.

Since the idea of the joint album came about in 2012, Lamar and Cole have undoubtedly become two of the biggest rappers of today, which meant they have more things to do and more projects to keep them busy.

Now, it appears that the artists are too busy to get together and finish what they started. Because of this, the Lamar and Cole new album supposedly to be released this year, may not be on the table anymore.

Lamar will be busy with his world tour starting this month. The "How Much A Dollar Cost" hitmaker will travel to Ireland and Spain for the first leg of his tour with Texas, New York and Los Angeles also included.

The world tour will extend up to the first week of October, which will definitely make for a very busy Lamar. In addition, the rapper has been collaborating with some artists for their albums.

Meanwhile, it is not only Lamar who will be too busy for the album. Cole will also kick off a concert series for Washington State Fair, which will last up to three weeks.

The concert will begin Sept. 3 and will wrap up on Sept. 25, which will definitely have Cole focused on that even prior to the event itself. Tickets will be available on July 16.

That being said, the Lamar and Cole joint album that everyone has been waiting for might take a while to arrive, if it is still planned to be released.

For now, it looks like fans will have to wait for new updates, should Lamar and Cole ever decide to give some anytime soon.
