Christian artist Kari Jobe is helping raise awareness around adoption and she is also asking her fans to do the same and get involved in the non-profit organisation called Lifesong for Orphans.

"Tonight I'm leading worship for a fundraiser that a sweet couple is doing to raise money to adopt these precious boys from Uganda - Jonathan and Emmanuel," she wrote on her Facebook page. "As I listened to their story I had tears in my eyes."

Jobe said that Jonathan and Emmanuel both represent so many orphans and the stories of others who are currently waiting for God to provide them with a loving home, and they need all the help they can get in order to have a successful adoption story.

"As we do this event tonight, I am praying for any of you that are in this same place - needing the funds, breakthroughs for the adoptions to go through, etc. Lets join our hearts together," she said. "If you aren't close and feel led to sow into this family as they raise money for these boys - you can give at LifeSongfororphans.org and the family ID: 5108ELY."

The mission of Lifesong for Orphans is to give joy and purpose to orphans, and they are doing so by mobilising the church and God's people to provide a unique and special service, be it to adopt, give care, or just simply give.

The organisation wants to ensure that none of their children will want for food, clothing, medical care, and shelter, and that they will be raised with fundamental Christian training and discipleship. At the same time, they aim to provide a quality education that will serve as their foundation for the future.  They are also committed to providing continued love and support as the kids transition into adulthood.
