Christian artist Kari Jobe just explained the meaning behind her song "Always Enough" from the album Majestic, saying that it highlights the importance of God's presence in people's lives.

In her Facebook page, Jobe wrote that culture misleads people into thinking that their lives are not enough without some elusive thing - be it a possession, an accolade or a status. And it's so easy to buy into that lie because of savvy marketing and advertising skills.

She lamented how many people easily believe the hype and end up feeling restless, inadequate, and dissatisfied. But God's presence changes all that and His love exposes the lies of the world.

"I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord," she said.

"God's presence has a wonderful way of exposing those lies. In the light of His glorious face all the fog of deception is burned away. To really know Him is to come to understand that in Him lies everything we could possibly ever want or need," she added.

Thanks to God, the singer learned how to discard everything else and count it as garbage in order to gain Christ and become one with Him.

Jobe then shared the words of Andrew Murray, a great man of prayer and power who ministered in South Africa in the 19th century. He wrote, "May not a single moment of my life be spent outside the light, love, and joy of God's presence and not a moment without the entire surrender of myself as a vessel for Him to fill full of His Spirit and His love."

And that is what Jobe hopes to inspire in her song "Always Enough" - that in light of God's presence, the only truth Christians should know is that He is always enough.
