Canadian Christian singer Justin Bieber had a momentary flare-up while performing on stage in Oslo, Norway, recently after over-excited fans tried to grab him while he was trying to wipe off some liquid on the floor.

According to MTV, Bieber was all set to film an appearance for the late-night Norwegian talk show called "Senkveld." He had agreed to perform five to six songs, and was already doing his 2012 hit "Boyfriend." However, when he saw some liquid on the floor, he decided to redo the song and clean up the stage first.

Bieber went to the area which was close to some fans. When he dropped the ragged cloth and started wiping, his fans tried grabbing him. "Guys! Yo! Listen to me! Are you listening?" he then asked the fans. "Okay, I'm trying to wipe the floor. Give me a second, yo."

His fans would not listen and still tried reaching out to the artist, and at that point, Bieber got fed up. "Guys, never mind, I'm done, I'm not doing the show. I'm not doing the show," he said as he stormed off the stage.

Bieber's fans were still laughing at that point because they presumed that he was just joking. However, Bieber was not in a playful mood as he stormed off the stage. His back-up dancers tried to do some damage control by singing his hit song "Baby."

The two hosts of "Senkveld" then came on stage and apologised to the audience, telling them that Bieber had left and would not return to do the show.

After the incident, Bieber issued an apology to his fans on his Instagram account (@justinbieber). "Sadly it's been a rough week for me, long days no sleep, while having to be 'on' as they would say for cameras, fans etc.," he writes. "In no way did I mean to come across mean, but chose to end the show as the people in the front row would not listen. Hopefully people will understand where I am coming from. I don't always handle things the right way but I'm human and I'm working on getting better at responding not reacting. Unfortunately people were affected by this as am I. For the people in the back I am so sorry and for anyone I may have disappointed I'm sorry. Sorry for wasting the TV people's time I'll be sure to make it up to you next time on tour.. With love Justin."
